I'm back in the Brigham for a few days. My body was not processing fluids like it should so they asked me to come back to the hospital last night so they could treat it aggressively. The big fear with excess fluids is always pneumonia and we all want to stay clear of that.
We showed up at the emergency room at about 6:30 and after much testing and waiting finally got admitted at 11:45 pm. My sister Mary and Rich went to stay with our dear friends Barb and Julie, who have been so hospitable through this crazy time.
