Saturday, time flies

It is amazing to me that coming home can be such a process. I've been really tired but thrilled to be in my own little bed. The first 12 hours home I felt like I slept better than I had for 8 days.

I got out for two walks today. My dear, dear caretakers, drove me to the bottom of the driveway. We walked. And then they drove me back up. Seems silly but that hill is daunting with less air available.

Rich and Mary are making a great tag team and taking the best care of me. They take turns in the night getting up to give me my meds. Needless to say I'm a little dopey and don't want to take the wrong meds. For someone who has never taken anything, the schedule is a little much for me to follow.

I'm a little impatient with the slow recovery but am trying to be grateful. I know I just have to follow the process.

Thanks for all the emails and cards. They are wonderful.

Much love, Kate
