Hi Katie, Just had a treatment with Karen Kirchoff and she sends you her healing energy and support. Needless to say she was shocked by the news and and asked me to pass on her best wishes for your recovery.
On another note, I went to see Milk last night. It was a really good movie. I was inspired and sobered by how far we have come. It's amazing how useful it is to have history organized in context, to allow you to gain perspective and insight into a time period that I was aware of but not deeply paying attention to at the time. Definitely put it on your list once it hits the DVD format. Hope you are feeling okay. You should have gotten the book and CD by know so let us know if they didn't get there for some reason.

I hope you will send my best to Karen. She is such a dear. I trust you had a good treatment.
I have heard really good things about Milk, and looking forward to adding it to my list. Maybe I'll even get out for a matinee some day.
The book about preparing for surgery arrived. I listened to the meditation tape this afternoon and it has very good visualiztions. It was very calming and relaxing. I'm going to try to listen to it every day between now and my yet to be scheduled surgery.
