What a long day!

Arrived to start chemo at 9 this am. They give you all sorts of "pre-meds" before you get the chemo agents themselves, benedryal, pepcid, some steroid and an anti-nausea drug. At one point I had a small reaction to something. I got flushed and had some difficulty breathing etc. That stopped after a few minutes and they started everything up again. Since then all has been fine. It is however, a long day. I'm almost finished with the first chemo agent and then have one more that will take about an hour. What a journey!
